You will be able to add a director to the company from your account at any point once the company has been formed. This can be either a person or a company.
Steps to appoint a director to your company:
- Go to My Companies (login required), and then click on your company name.
- Scroll down to the Directors section, and click Appoint New Director. Click here if you're appointing a company as a director.
- Enter all the relevant director information.
- Tick the 'Consent to act' checkbox.
- Click Continue. You should see a message that your request has been successfully submitted to Companies House.
Please Note: You may not see the new director information until Companies House accepts the request (Generally within 3 working hours).
