How to Appoint a Director (Person)

You will be able to add a director to the company from your account at any point once the company has been formed. This can be either a person or a company. 

Steps to appoint a director to your company:

1. Go to My Companies (login required), and then click on your company name.
2. Scroll down to the Directors section, and click Appoint New Director. Click here if you're appointing a company as a director.
3. Enter all the relevant director information.
4. Tick the 'Consent to act' checkbox.
   
5. Click Continue.  You should see a message that your request has been successfully submitted to Companies House.
