Please note that a secretary is no longer mandatory when forming a company.
Steps to appoint a secretary to your company:
- Go to My Companies (login required), and then click on your company name
- Scroll down to the Secretaries section, and click Appoint New Secretary.
- Enter all the relevant information.
- Tick the 'Consent to act' checkbox.
- Click Continue. You should see a message that your request has been successfully submitted to Companies House.
