Proof of ID and Address Document Checklist
Proof of ID (Approved List):
-
Valid International Passport (not expired)
- Driving Licence (with photocard)
- Electronic National Identity Card
Proof of Residential Address (Approved List):
- Utility Bill (Gas, Electricity or Water)
- Landline telephone bill (Mobile phone bills are not accepted)
- Insurance Letter (Life, home and health insurance)
- Mortgage Statement
- Council Tax Bill for current period
- Bank/ Building Society Statement from a recognised bank (Digital / challenger banks / e-money institutions are not accepted)
- Credit Card Statements
- TV Licence
- HM Revenue and Customs Letter/Notice of Coding
- Letter from Benefits Agency
- Financial Statement (e.g Pension/ Endowment)
- Polling card
The Proof of Residential Address Document Must:
- Show your name (not business name)
- Show your current residential address
- Show the name or logo of company / authority that issued the document
- Be dated within the last 3 months (or 12 months for annual statements).
- Be written in English or a latin-script language (or accompanied by a certified English translation)
- Be a photo of the physical document or original PDF (no black and white copies or screenshots)
- Be the full document (not cropped, covered or folded)
- Not be altered or edited in any way
