Proof of ID (Approved List):

Proof of Residential Address (Approved List):

Bank or Building Society Statement	Must be from your current account used for everyday spending and show at least 30 days of transactions. UK Council Tax Bill	Must be the original annual bill for the current billing year.	Issued in March of current year.	✅ Applies only to UK residents. ❌ Bills for unoccupied, empty homes not accepted. ❌ Reminder or final demand notices not accepted. ❌ Non-domestic (Business Rates) bills not accepted.
Annual Mortgage Statement	Must be the latest annual statement showing payments made over the last 12 months and the outstanding balance.	Issued within the last 12 months.	✅ Must be from a recognised lender. ✅ Must relate to current residential address. ❌ Statements for second home, investment property or rental property not accepted. ❌ Mortgage agreements not accepted.
Home Insurance Policy	Must be an active policy that has been renewed and is currently in force.	Issued within the last 12 months.	✅ Must be from a regulated insurer. ✅ Must be a Certificate of Insurance or Policy Schedule. ❌ Renewal notices, offers, quotes or proposal not accepted.

The Proof of Residential Address Document Must:

Requirement	Details / Notes
Full Name	Must show your full name (business names not accepted)
Current Address	Must show your current residential address
Issuer	Must display the name or logo of the issuing company or authority
Date	Must be dated within the last 3 months (or 12 months for annual statements such as Council Tax or mortgage statements)
Language	Must be written in English or a Latin-script language, or accompanied by a certified English translation
Format	Must be a photo of the original document or original PDF (no black-and-white copies or screenshots)
Completeness	Must show all pages of the document (not cropped, covered, folded, or partially obscured)
Authenticity	Must not be altered or edited in any way

Additional Verification and Further Evidence

In most cases, one proof of residential address is sufficient. However, if our identity verification software or Compliance team is unable to verify your address, we reserve the right to request a second proof of address or other supporting documents, which may need to be certified or notarised.

We will advise you if further evidence is required to complete verification. Your service cannot be activated until all required checks have been completed satisfactorily.
