How to Stop Compulsary Strike Off

Companies House may begin to close your company down or begin "Compulsary strike Off" proceedings. This is generally when one of the annual filings has not been filed and is now overdue. 

You should:

• Contact Companies House straight away informing them your company is still active and that you would like to keep it that way.
  
  Identify exactly what is overdue and inform them on how you are going to rectify this.
  
  If you need extra time, ask them if it is possible and then file as soon as possible.

• Make sure that the company's annual accounts and Confirmation Statement are submitted to Companies House without delay (if overdue).
