Can I move my company’s registered office to a different country?

Although you can change your Registered Office address whenever you would like, you unfortunately have to keep that address within the country you are registered in. Please see the table below:

Companies House is the Registrar of Companies for the whole of the UK, however each country within the UK is ran by its own Judicial system and therefore some rules and implications may vary slightly from country to country hense why it is currently impossible to change the Registered Office to an address outside of the country it was registered in. 

The only exception to the above rule is if the company is registered with an English registered office address. You will be able to then change it to any address in England or Wales.
