Steps to appoint a company as a shareholder during the formation process:
- When in the company registration, go to the Company Appointments section and click on Add a corporate officer instead.
- This should indicate you are now adding a corporate officer and you can just select the role/s that apply; e.g. Shareholder.
- Enter the shareholder information and click Submit & Continue. You should see the company shareholder has been added:
- Continue filling out the rest of your company registration.
The company shareholder along with the rest of your company information will appear under the "My Companies" section of your account once your company is incorporated. The information will also appear on the Companies House register generally within 24 hours.
