Can I do my ID check at a later stage? – Companies Made Simple - Help Centre

You can choose to do the ID check at a different time. This may be because you have not got the necessary documents to hand at the moment to conduct your ID check in it's entirety or the person that needs to be verified is not around right now.

Please Note: If an ID check has not been fulfilled by all the necessary individuals that it is being requested of then some services will not be activated. If you are trying to incorporate a company using the Basic package, your application will be on hold until the ID check has been successfully validated.

In order to do this at a later stage, when prompted, click on No, I want to validate later. You then enter in an email address of the person that needs to validate their ID.

An email with the validation link has now been sent to the officer’s email address. The officer must click on the link in the email and follow the instructions to validate their proof of ID.
