Removing Company and Director Information from Search Engines

While we can’t remove or change any information on our website or other websites. We can stop certain company and director information being accessible from search engines.

We provide company credit reports based on information as supplied on the public record but we do not store the data on our database.

Removing your details from search engines

If your request is about a limited or non-limited company, please provide the:

• Company name
• Company number
• Full URL - get this by searching for the company, clicking View Details and copying the full page URL from the address bar (see image)

• Director name
• Full URL - get this by searching for the director, clicking View Details and copying the full page URL from the address bar (see image)

What if my information is still visible on search engines?

To remove your information we set a hidden “noindex tag” to the listed page. The removal will only come into effect when the search engine re-crawls the page and sees the noindex tag. Until that time the page will continue to be visible. Unfortunately, we have no control over when this is done.
