Company RegisterEvery company is required to keep particular registers for their limited company, generally kept at the registered office address. A company register (or "Register of Members" as it is known as) generally would consist of the following statutory information of a company:
- Applications and Allotments,
- Directors and Secretaries,
- People with Significant Control,
- Directors' Interest,
- Mortgages and Charges,
- Minute Book,
- Share Certificates,
- Documents With Registrar.
Most companies keep the statutory registers in a single bound book or loose-leaf binder, but they may be kept in any form, such as a computer record. This must be kept up to date at all times.
