Company Register

Every company is required to keep particular registers for their limited company, generally kept at the registered office address. A company register (or "Register of Members" as it is known as) generally would consist of the following statutory information of a company:
  • Applications and Allotments,
  • Members,
  • Transfers,
  • Directors and Secretaries,
  • People with Significant Control, 
  • Directors' Interest, 
  • Debentures,
  • Mortgages and Charges,
  • Minute Book,
  • Share Certificates,
  • Documents With Registrar.

Most companies keep the statutory registers in a single bound book or loose-leaf binder, but they may be kept in any form, such as a computer record. This must be kept up to date at all times.
